Melons

This is my first attempt at growing melons…we’ll see how they do!

Maverick

A cantaloupe, with orange flesh and a “net” on the skin. They should average 3.5 to 4 pounds (I don’t know if mine will get that big). Excellent, sweet flavor.

San Juan

An Ananas melon, with ivory colored flesh and heavily netted skin. It has an aromatic, pear-like, sweet flavor. The average size is 4 pounds, again, I don’t know if mine will get that big.
